You can request deletion of your Drive By FBAS account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how the process works, what gets deleted, and what we must legally retain.

1. How to request deletion
Fill in the form below. We will confirm receipt within 3 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days, in line with UK GDPR requirements.
2. What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, phone, profile photo)
- Authentication credentials
- App preferences and settings
- Push notification tokens and Telegram chat IDs
- Marketing consent records
- Device identifiers linked to your account
3. What we are required to retain
The following data is kept for legal and tax compliance, even after account deletion. It is stored separately, anonymised where possible, and never used for operational purposes:
- Earnings and payment records: kept for 7 years (UK HMRC requirement).
- Self-billing invoices: kept for 7 years (UK self-employment tax records).
- Vehicle agreements (VUA): kept for 7 years after end of contract (UK contract law).
- Driver compliance records: kept for 3 years (Lime partnership audit, road safety).
- Anonymised analytics: aggregated data with no personal identifier, kept indefinitely.
4. Data shared with third parties
When you request deletion, we will also notify and request deletion from:
- Supabase (our database and authentication provider)
- Stripe (payment processor) — subject to financial record retention laws
- Telegram (notification channel, if you opted in)
- Google Firebase / FCM (push notification token)
- Mapbox (anonymised location queries during your active shifts)
Lime (our client) receives only anonymised delivery proof and does not hold your personal data.
5. After deletion
- You will no longer be able to log in to the app.
- If you reapply later, a new account is created from scratch.
- You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
6. Questions and complaints
If we cannot complete your request, we will explain why in writing. If you are not satisfied with our handling of your request, you can lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
