FBAS Solution Ltd ("FBAS", "we", "us") operates the Drive By FBAS mobile application ("the App") for our delivery drivers. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it. By using the App you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
2. Data we collect
- Identity: name, email, phone number, profile photo.
- Location: precise GPS coordinates during active shifts (for routing, dispatch, safety).
- Vehicle data: van registration, photos of your vehicle, documents (insurance, MOT, licence).
- Operational: shift bookings, task completions, earnings, performance metrics.
- Device: device ID, push token (FCM), platform OS.
- Communications: optional Telegram chat ID (for notifications), WhatsApp number (for support).
3. Why we collect it
- Operate the platform (assign tasks, pay drivers).
- Safety (track active drivers, emergency response).
- Compliance (HMRC self-employment records, insurance verification, road safety).
- Service improvements (analytics, bug reports).
4. Legal basis (GDPR)
- Contract: data necessary to operate the driver relationship.
- Legal obligation: HMRC, insurance compliance.
- Legitimate interest: fraud prevention, platform safety.
- Consent: optional channels (Telegram, marketing emails).
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share only:
- With our service providers (Supabase, Stripe, Telegram, Resend, Mapbox, Google FCM) under strict contracts.
- With Lime (our client) for delivery proof of work.
- With HMRC and UK authorities when legally required.
6. Data retention
- Active driver: data kept while you operate with us.
- After off-boarding: data kept 7 years (UK HMRC requirement) then deleted.
- Marketing consent: revocable anytime.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
- Access your data.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion (where not legally required to retain).
- Export your data.
- Object to processing.
- Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

8. Children
The App is for drivers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. International transfers
Data is hosted in the EU (Supabase eu-west-2). Third-party processors may transfer data to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the UK ICO and European Commission.
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Access is restricted to authorised FBAS staff under audit log. We follow industry-standard security practices and regularly review our procedures.
11. Changes
We update this policy as the App evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes are notified via an in-app banner.
